
Ingredients:
- Ripe Mangoes chopped - 1 cup
- Chicken - 1/2 kg
- 2 Bay leaf
- I cinnamon Stick
- 2 Cloves
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tablespoon
- Onion chopped - 1 (big size)
- Tomato chopped - 1/2
- Chilli powder - 1 tablespoon
- Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Amchur powder - 1/4 tablespoon
- Cumin seed powder - 1/2 tablespoon
- Thick Curd - 3 tbsp
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoon
- Salt to taste
- Marinate the chicken with 1/2 tablespoon of chilli powder , curd , salt for 30 minutes.
- Blend the chopped mango and make it like paste( no lumps).
- Heat oil in pan. Add bay leaf, cinnamon sticks, cloves ,onions and saute till it becomes translucent.
- Then add ginger garlic paste and tomato, saute until tomato turned to soft..
- Add mango puree , then saute for few minutes in simmer to get rid of the raw smell.
- Add chicken pieces, Chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder, cumin seed powder, salt and 1 cup of water, mix well and cook til the meat cooked well.
- Serve the Mango chicken curry with chappathi, roti or rice.
Wow mango in chicken gravy...never thought it will be a combination. Looks so delicious
