Javvarisi Payasam | Sago kheer | Sabudana kheer

 

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup of javvarasi | sago
  • 1/2 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1/8 tsp of cardoman powder
  • 10 number of chasew nuts (broken)
  • 1 tsp of ghee, divided
  • A pinch of salt

Method:
  1. Heat 1/2 tsp of ghee in pan, fry javvarasi | sago for few minutes.set aside.
  2. Roast cashew nuts in remaining ghee and set aside.
  3. Boil javvarasi with 2 cups of water, cook until it becomes transparent.
  4. Add sugar in it, stir gently until it dissolves completely.
  5. Add milk, cardoman powder and stir, cook for few minutes.
  6. Finally, add roasted cashew nuts. Serve cold or hot.
