Panipuri | Gol Gappa

For making Puri:
1/2 cup Sooji / Rava
4 tbsp of Maida / All purpose flour
A pinch of Baking Powder
2 tbsp of oil
Salt to taste

For making Potato filling
1 cup of Boiled potato (cubed)
1/2 tsp of chilli powder
1/4 tsp of Amchur powder
1/2 cup of chopped Cilantro
Salt to taste

For making Tamarind water:
Tamarind (Small lemon size)
1 cup of water
1/2 tsp of cumin seed powder
1/2 tsp of crushed powder
3 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of Amchur powder.
Salt to taste


1. Combine all the ingredients mentioned under Puri in mixing bowl, add little water and knead until dough consistency.
2. Take small portion from the dough and roll it using rolling pin.
3. Use circle cookie cutter or bottle lid and press on the rolled dough.
4. Heat oil in pan and deep fry the small disc until it turn to golden brown colour and remove the excess oil using paper tissue.
5. Take the boiled potatoes in small bowl. Add all the ingredients and mix well. (Filling ready )
6. Soak the tamarind in a cup of water for an hour and extract the tamarind pulp. Add all other ingredients and mix well.

How to Serve:

Take a puri and make a small hole in the centre of it using thumb finger. put some potato filling in it and dip or add two spoon of tamarind water in it. Enjoy it.

Strawberry Parfait

Parfait is a kind of frozen dessert. It consisting of layers which is filled with any fruits, Ice cream, Whipped cream and eggs. Here i filled this with Strawberry layers. If you want some crunchiness, you can add some crushed crackers or cookies in between the layers.

  • 2 cup of Strawberries, Chopped
  • 1 cup of Whip cream
  • 3 tbsp of Sugar
  • 1/2 cup of Icing Sugar
  • 2 tbsp of unflavoured Gelatin
  • 2 Strawberries for garnishing


1. Take a cup of strawberry, sugar and boiled water in blender and purée it.

2. Transfer it to microwave safe bowl and add gelatin in it and microwave it for 1 minute. Then Stir it until gelatin dissolve and let them cool completely.

3. Transfer it to large glass and refrigerate it for 15 minutes.

1. Take another cup of strawberry in blender, purée it and set aside.

2. Take whip cream in large mixing bowl, beat it in speed 2 for about 1 minute using electric hand mixer.

3.  Add Icing sugar and beat it in speed 5 until it become stiff peak form.

4. Add the strawberry juice and fold the whipped cream in it.

5. Transfer it into Zip lock bag and cut small hole in one of the edge.

6. Fill the strawberry whipped cream into the two glasses.

7. Cling wrap it and refrigerate for 4 hours.

8. Garnish it with Fresh strawberry and Serve :)

Vanilla Cup Cakes

  • 1 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup Butter, Room temperature
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp of Pure Vanilla extract


1. Preheat oven to  375 F.
2. Take a large mixing bowl, add flour, baking powder, granulated sugar and salt. Whisk it well.
2. Add milk, eggs , butter and vanilla extract. Beat on speed 3 for about 3 minutes using Electric mixer.
3. Spoon into 12 lining Muffin cups ( Fill 3/4 of the cup).
5. Bake for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted into the centre of the cake and comes out clean.
6. Transfer into rack and let it cool completely.

How to Store:
Store it up to 1 day in Air tight container or Freeze it for 2 days.
