Chocolate Cake with Cream cheese and strawberry topping


Hello friends, Have you all planned cake menu for this valentine's day??


If you haven't, then this is the best and quick cake option..


For making this delicious cake, you will need only an hour. Try it out, I am sure you will love it.

Step 1: Ingredients


For Making Cake:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 eggs
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
1 cup hot water
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp salt

For Making Cream cheese frosting:

4 Oz Cream cheese
4 cup Confectioner sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp Vanilla extract

Baking Supplies:

9 inch spring form pan
Butter Spray

Step 2: Chocolate Cake




Preheat oven to 375 F.


Take a large mixing bowl, add in eggs, sugar, salt and baking powder. Whisk until creamy texture.


Add cocoa powder and vanilla extract, mix well without any lumps.


Swift APF into the bowl, mix again.


Add liquid ingredients (water,milk,oil) and whisk until all combined well.


Grease the baking pan with butter and pour the cake batter into it.


Bake it for 30 to 40 minutes or insert toothpick in centre of the cake and it should comes out clean.


Move the cake to cooling rack and let it completely cooled down.


Step 3: Cream cheese Frosting




Take cream cheese, vanilla extract in mixing bowl, whisk until creamy.


Add powdered sugar and milk, mix all without any lump formation. ( the texture will be runny).


Step 4: Cake Decoration




Topping Ingredient:


Strawberries


Slice the strawberries and keep it aside.


Evenly spread the cream cheese frosting and top with sliced strawberries.


You are done!
