Green smoothies are made by blending large quantity of raw leafy green vegetables with fruit to soften and sweeten the taste. You can also replace kale with spinach, swiss chard, collard greens, celery, broccoli, and parsley. Try this nutritious smoothie with kale, pear, mango and milk. You can also have it as breakfast. It will alkalize the body.
- 2 cup of Kale
- 1 ripe pear
- 1 cup of mango
- 1 1/2 cup of Milk / Almond milk
- Honey as per your taste ( I used 1 tbsp)
Wash kale, remove stems and discard it. Roughly chop the leaves.
Peel the skin of pear and mango. take out the seed and chop them into small pieces.
In blender, puree kale, pear, mango, milk and honey until smooth and frothy.
